Our dynamic family business consists of a team of 15 skilled specialists. The starting point of Leba Metaalwerking is the combination of craftsmanship and modern technology. An extensive and modern equipped machine park with CNC milling and turning machines is available for this purpose. The aspects that are of decisive importance for the successful realization of projects.

about Leba
Craftsmanship since 1957
Leba Metaalwerking was founded in 1957 by Mr and Mrs Lesscher, in the Baarsdorpermeer: a small hamlet around Hoorn (NH). This is where Mr Lesscher started as a local farrier. Lesscher gradually focused more on designing and producing machinery for agriculture, as a logical consequence of the region where Leba Metaalwerking was located.
In 1962 Leba opened a new location in Hoogwoud. Because of expansion in 1975 Leba moved to De Veken in Opmeer.

Mr Lesscher’s strong innovative capacity meant that Leba Metaalwerking quickly gained name recognition among several major industries in the region. Many used the services that Leba could provide. This led to growth in both the number of employees and the machine park. After several locations in West Friesland, Leba Metaalwerking has been located in Enkhuizen since 1981. Leba is located here in a modernly equipped business premises.
Mr Lesscher’s sons (Henk, Herman, Bart and Rob) joined the company in the 1980s. Over the years, a wealth of knowledge and experience has been built up to provide optimal service to customers. Since 2020, the third generation (Niels Roskam and Marloes Groot, grandchildren of Mr Lesscher) have also joined the board of directors to ensure continuity of the company.
